Job Description - Front Office Manager

Job Description



 

  • Management of the hotel Front-Office operation to achieve a reputation as a market leader in individualized customer focused service in the hotel locality
  • Run and actively participate in regular Front Office meetings respecting the confidentiality of issues which may be discussed formally or informally
  • Effective supervision of all guest arrivals and departures 
  • Supervision of lobby services and portering, ensuring guest arrivals and departures are as efficient as possible
  • Regular liaison with Maintenance ensuring maintenance requests are completed quickly focusing on guest needs as a priority
  • Operation of an effective night audit function in conjunction with the Financial Controller. Accuracy of this daily function being paramount while maintaining customer focus
  • Preparation of Front Office monthly reports, commenting on key performance indicators
  • Liaise with Housekeeping to ensure room cleanliness standards are maintained while meeting productivity goals

Qualifications



 

  • Experience supervisor or management level within hotel operation or similar environment
  • Training, coaching, development and retention experience
  • Organizational skills with strong verbal and written communication
  • A current Manager's Certificate, First Aid Certificate and a full driver's license preferred. 
  • Handling of Guest experience and complaint handling
  • Problem-solving, ability to handle issues when crisis situation arise
  • Knowledge of AccorHotels, ALL and Accor Plus membership programs is an advantage
