Contact Centre Representative - PCSS

Turuki Health Care is a kaupapa Maori organisation delivering integrated Health and Social Services to the wider Counties Manukau and ADHB areas. We provide quality, accessible, and affordable health care and support to whanau.

This position is fulltime, Monday to Friday, 8.30am - 5.00pm and will be based at our Manukau office.

Our Permanent Caregiver Support Service team are based in our specialised Contact Centre located in Manukau. You will work alongside a team of dedicated Case Workers and SWRB Qualified and Registered Social Workers. We offer one on one support from your supervisor, a fantastic team that really care about the whanau they work with and the chance to make a difference in the community.

We are searching for a polite and professional Contact Centre Representative to work closely with our PCSS members and provide outstanding service to our clients by answering questions, handling complaints, and troubleshooting problems.

Your experience and skills will include:

Exceptional customer service and communication skills with a polite telephone manner.
An understanding of PCSS services although training will be provided.
Ability to manage large amounts of inbound calls in a timely manner.
Identifying Caregiver/ Vendor needs, clarify information, acknowledge all concerns and provide a solution.
Build sustainable relationships and engage with Caregivers and Vendors by going the extra mile.
Keep records of all conversations in NOTED database in a readable, professional format.
Empathy for other people's feelings.
Proficiency with computers and strong typing skills.
Ability to ask relevant questions and diffuse tense situations.
Strong time management and decision-making skills.
Adaptability and accountability
Fluency in multiple languages would be an advantage but is not mandatory.
