Operations / Tour Manager

Job Description.

We are searching for a meticulously organized and budget-conscious Operations/ Tour Manager to direct all logistical procedures. To ensure success as an Operations/ Tour Manager, you should exhibit financial savviness and thoughtfulness about forecasted movements. Ultimately, a sublime tour manager should offer steady emotional and practical aid. To ensure success as a manager and tour guide, you should be an excellent storyteller with a knack for customer service. An outstanding tour guide will perform minor alterations to each itinerary to suit the unique interests of each group.

Position Responsibilities:

• Monitoring and ordering stock in store (cafe area and shop)
• Report the numbers to the accounting department from sales and work hours from staff.
• Manage the main roster for tour guides and baristas.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, holidays and weekends are our best days.
• This position will require contact with external and internal customers therefore, the teammate must be friendly, and professional.
• Organizing the maintenance of the venue.
• Tour Guiding

Position Requirements:

• 3-year Business diploma or degree
• Minimum 2 years experience in tourism or hospitality.
• Minimum 1-year experience managing all aspects of running daily business duties.
• Administration experience (rostering, budget etc.)
• Understanding how to use Google and Microsoft Office Products
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Confident managing groups of up to 25 people.
• Ability to alleviate emotional labour accumulated by touring.
