We are Te Tiriti o Waitangi partners and allies, we are listeners of diverse voices, we are holders of the space for communities and whānau to lead. We are a team of teams who live within and reflect the communities we serve.

We are responsible for designing community-based systems of care, agreeing health and wellbeing plans, executing those plans, and monitoring outcomes which then feed into the design process.

Analysts are responsible for providing a wide range of health insights information and analysis to national and regional teams, input into service design and development early in the process to ensure analytical requirements are well informed and interpreted and ensure health insights analysis have focus on health equity for Māori, as well as equity across other population groups.

Ngā pūkenga me ngā weako | Skills and experience

  • Experience scoping, collecting/extracting, analysing, and forecasting data.
  • Experience using one or more of the following (or similar) applications: Business Intelligence Visualisation Tools (Power BI/SQL/Excel).
  • Advanced knowledge of and experience in Excel.
  • Knowledge and experience applying quantitative statistical methods, frameworks, tools and techniques to deliver insights.
  • The ability to translate analytical results and findings into a compelling narrative.
  • A proactive commitment to ongoing personal and professional development
  • Continuously develops and improves own technical expertise in line with relevant/ industry trends.
