About the role

There is more to collecting waste than you might think. This role will be primarily operating a fully electric collection vehicle.

Our fleet of trucks is state of the art and set up with modern technologies. Once trained, a typical day will see you starting very early in the morning to get around town before traffic starts, collecting commercial recycling from Dunedin businesses and dropping it off at the recycling plant. Given the early starts will be finished and off home around 1 pm.

Apart from driving the only electric REL in Dunedin, you will be helping with recycling collections in and around our city.

To be successful in this role you need to have

A valid NZ Class 2 licence with relevant driving experience

Relevant transport industry knowledge and experience

You will need to be physically fit and have the ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team.
