Geography and English Teacher, Native Speaker of English in Elbląg, Poland

Regent College International High School located in ElblÄ…g, in the North of Poland, is looking for a qualified Geography Teacher to teach Cambridge IGCSE an A-Level curriculum to students in small groups. Native speakers of English or candidates with advanced English will be considered. Qualifications to teach English as a Second Language would be an added advantage as there is also an opportunity to teach conversational classes in English. Initially, we offer a one-year full-time contract with the perspective to move into a permanent one upon successful completion of the first year. Requirements: 

• native or near-native speaker of English with a clear accent, 
• a university degree in Geography, 
• a teaching certificate,
• a minimum one-year experience as a teacher,
• an open and friendly attitude, 
• willingness to deliver lessons in a creative and resourceful way. 

The school offers:

• 10-month contract between the 1st of  September 2024 and end of 20th of June 2025 (34 weeks of teaching) with possibility of extension, 
• guaranteed average of  22-24 hours of lessons per week (numbers vary across the year) with possibility to work overtime,
• locally competitive monthly salary of 5500-6500 PLN net.
