Ranga Auaha Ako | Learning & Teaching Design Team is an important part of the University’s strategy to assist teaching staff across Faculties to adopt well-designed curricula that supports the achievement of the University’s Graduate Profile and is commensurate with programmes delivered in a research-intensive, civic university of international standing. The objective of Ranga Auaha Ako is to provide strong and scalable learning design support that can be flexibly deployed across the University to implement strategic initiatives that enhance the learning experience for as many University of Auckland students as possible. Ranga Auaha Ako primarily delivers learning design support, which includes support for course and programme development, design and review. It also provides specialist support for the development of learning activities and the creation of pedagogically sound digital (or other) resources to support these.
Te Whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity
We are on the search for 10 Learning Technologists to join our Ranga Auaha Ako | Learning & Teaching Design Team. In this role you will work towards refreshing and improving our digital learning environment. You will be ensuring greater consistency, accessibility and sustainability. You will also be tasked with the end-to-end development of courses within the Universities Learning Management System and other learning and teaching software’s. The role will also be given the responsibility of supporting the capability development of teaching staff to sustain, maintain and deliver courses developed within the LMS.
These are full-time role. 37.5 hours per week on a fixed term basis for 12 months. The salary range for this role is $66,600 - $82,200 per annum, depending on experience and
