Project Manager

ConsultANZ is seeking a Project Manager with robust experience in water projects, bridges, and technical structure works to join a leading civil engineering firm in New Zealand. The role involves contributing to significant infrastructure projects ranging from $5 million to $500 million in value.

Responsibilities:

• Take charge of project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
• Ensure project timelines are met and deadlines are adhered to.
• Collaborate with various stakeholders to achieve project goals.
• Supervise construction activities to ensure compliance with standards and regulations.
• Monitor project progress and address any issues promptly.
• Keep stakeholders informed about project status and address their concerns.
• Manage project documentation and quality control.
• Resolve conflicts and provide leadership to the project team.

Requirements:

• Hold a degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Have 10-15+ years of proven experience in water/civil projects.
• Ideally managed projects valued at $10-$50 million or more.
• Possess a solutions-oriented mindset and a drive for career advancement.
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills.
• Previous experience with main contractors is preferred.
• Proficient in managing staff and subcontractors.
