Regional Sales Representative
Christchurch


Territory Management Sales position.

  • Developing sales of our client's services within the Canterbury region.
  • Identifies objectives, strategies, and action plans to improve short and long-term sales and earnings.
  • Establishes in consultation with management sales goals for the region.
  • Performs sales activities on major accounts, provides quotes, and negotiates sales prices in consultation with management.
  • Agrees specific plans to ensure revenue growth in all the company’s services.
  • Coordinates proper company resources to ensure efficient and stable sales results.
  • Collaborates with management and the sales team to develop strategies to improve market share for all services.
  • Being a point of contact on the dedicated sales line, when required, which will entail providing verbal & email proposals for clients.
  • Overseeing inquiries and online email system, actioning, quoting, follow up, and order information for Operations/Dispatch processing.
  • Maintaining quotes within MCS and sales opportunities within SAP software.
  • Maintaining the company’s existing clients and upselling additional services.
  • Contacts and secures new business accounts/customers.
  • Promotes/sells/secures orders from existing and prospective customers through a relationship-based approach.
  • Identifies services to existing/potential customers and assists them in selecting those best suited to their needs.
  • Makes telephone calls, in-person visits, and presentations to existing and prospective customers.
  • Researches sources for developing prospective customers and for information to determine their potential.
  • Develops clear and effective written proposals/quotations for current and prospective customers.
  • Expedites the resolution of customer problems and complaints.
  • Coordinates sales efforts with management, dispatch, and operations.
  • Identifies advantages and compares the company’s services against competitors.
  • Plans and organizes personal sales strategy for the region.
  • Supplies management with oral and written reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and service potential.
