Job Description - Sustainability & Development Officer

Job Description

Tasks and responsibilities

  • Supporting the design and project management functions of QLCHT’s residential housing projects.
  • Monitor and report on asset management across the portfolio.
  • Drive sustainability initiatives, both in the ‘built environment’ and QLCHTs internal organisation processes and management reporting.
  • Monitor various sustainability initiatives, funding opportunities and reporting requirements.

 

Skills and experience

  • Experience and understanding of residential construction, house design and project management.
  • Demonstrated experience in sustainability, along with an understanding of embodied carbon, carbon emissions and carbon reporting.
  • Experience in the implementation of sustainability change and process improvement.
  • Understanding of the resource consent and environmental planning experience helpful.
  • Experience in Homestar, universal design and use of OSM methodologies advantageous.

$75k – $95k FTE (pro-rated for 25-30 hours pw)
