Accountant - Fixed Asset

Job Description

We're searching for an experienced and talented Accountant to join our Financial Reporting and Tax Team with a special focus on the fixed asset reporting. Responsibilities include maintaining and preparing:

• Fixed asset register for additions, disposals, and transfers.
• Month end fixed asset reports including capital work in progress reports and commitment analysis.
• Quarterly fringe benefit tax returns.
• Annual statutory account fixed asset notes and
• Annual tax return fixed asset sections.

Qualifications

If you have experience working in a similar role and CA/CPA qualified (or studying towards the

qualifications

• A natural problem solver, analytical with exceptional attention to detail. 
• Proven experience with accounting processes and exposure to accounting packages, Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
• The ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders as well as members of your team. 
• Self sufficient who can work with minimum supervision to level of competency.
• A tertiary qualification in Accounting or Commerce is essential
• Knowledge of transport, logistics or waste would be desirable
