Assembly Assistant

Our client based in Mount Wellington are looking for an Assembly Assistant on a full-time basis Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm. They manufacture semiconductors, vacuum chambers among other products that are used for medical and research equipment. With all the training provided, you will have the ability to work with an internationally recognised engineering company right here in our backyard! You will be assisting with the impregnation process of these products which requires working with epoxy resin and fibreglass. You will need to measure items so the ability to follow instructions and having basic mathematical understanding is required to ensure the correct ratios are used to avoid mistakes and loss of products. You will be required to lift up to (but not exceeding) 25kgs, you must be comfortable and physically able to lift these products. What's in it for you:

Ideally, you will have:

• Previous experience in a manufacturing/engineering environment, but not essential
• Physically able to lift products throughout the day as required (up to but not exceeding 25kgs)
• Diligence and proven ability to follow instructions correctly
• Basic mathematical understanding as you mix products
• Good communication abilities as you communicate with your team and other departments
• Reliable transport to and from work
