Job Description

About the role

We are looking for a Lead Engineer to join the day shift team at our Auckland Ice Cream plant in East Tamaki. You will be reporting to the Site Manager

As a Lead Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• Managing the activities of the engineering team and contractors
• Working closely with the Production, Quality and H&S teams
• Minimising plant downtime
• Identifying and implementing improvements
• Raising capex and managing projects
• Complying with Talley’s Food and Health & Safety policies

Qualifications

Who are you?

You are a self-starter looking for a new adventure. You have a positive attitude, enjoy working hard and are honest, reliable, and willing to learn.

For this role, you’ll need:

• Engineering trade qualification
• 5+ years’ experience in a food manufacturing environment
• Proven understanding of preventative maintenance principles
• Project management experience
