Production supervisor line leader x

* Attract rates with plenty of OT opportunities * Flexibility to work shifts and weekends preferred * East Tamaki location The Company Our client is a busy non-meat food manufacturer with a large production plant in East Tamaki. They have modern, highly automated food processing and packing equipment and they run 3 shifts, day, afternoon and night shifts. Due to rapid growth, they are looking for additional, experienced food production staff from a FMCG background to take charge in some of the leadership roles and relive production pressure. The Jobs We are needing 2 x Shift Line Leaders and 1 x Production Supervisor to run the packing plant. These are all hands-on roles where you will be working alongside your team on the production floor. We are seeking for candidates from a similar, FMCG background. Suitability for the roles will depend on level of experience, mechanical aptitude and people management skills. Previous experience with automated packing machines will be highly regarded. There is a larger emphasis on people management focus for the Production Supervisor role, where you will be primarily responsible for staff performance, disciplinary, training and development, recruitment, etc. as well as the effective execution of production schedules. They have a very down-to-earth culture of people with practical mindsets - you won't be spending your days attending meetings and brainstorming processes. They are looking for candidates who can hit the ground running on day one. In terms of working hours, Shift Line Leader will be working either the afternoon or night shift. Production Supervisor is day shift based, but flexibility for shift cover is required.
