French Bakery is a Christchurch based company, manufacturing high quality bread and savoury products for national and international distribution. Responsibilities include; assisting the Management Team to ensure French Bakery is compliant with government regulations including (but not limited to); food safety, health & safety, and biosecurity for our busy manufacturing bakery and transitional facility (import/export). Key tasks include: * compliance with our Food Control Plan * compliance with our transitional facility requirements * compliance with our health & safety requirements * daily monitoring of product to specifications * recording and investigating non-compliances * conducting staff training * calibrating and maintaining equipment * maintaining documentation * ensuring traceability * assisting with quality audit programs Required Skills and Attributes * passion for continual improvement and food safety * capability to think clearly and stay calm under pressure * ability to communicate clearly with a range of different people * confidence using computer software and hardware This role would suit a new graduate with an interest in food safety and compliance. Experience with New Zealand food safety, and health & safety regulations would be of benefit but not required. Ongoing training and support will be provided.
