Niagara is a leading supplier of quality timber products with manufacturing operations in Kennington and distribution centres in Kennington, Ashburton, and Cambridge. We take pride in delivering high quality products to our building merchant and manufacturing customers across New Zealand.

We are seeking a motivated team player with an eye for detail to join our distribution team based in Cambridge. As the Warehouse Supervisor / Forklift Operator, you will play a crucial role in coordinating the dispatch team, ensuring the efficient flow and productivity of the dispatch process, and maintaining stock levels in our warehouse.  This role will report directly to the Cambridge Operations Manager, and provide cover for this role over time.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate the dispatch team to ensure timely and accurate      fulfilment of customer orders.
• Print dispatch dockets and create freight manifests to promote      smooth dispatch operations.
• Replenish stock to packing racks and maintain organised inventory      levels.
• Ensure efficient productivity of the dispatch process, keeping the      team focused and on track.
• Support order picking as required.
• Operate forklift to restock racks and unload trucks safely and      efficiently.
• Handle dispatch dockets and perform stock takes with      competent IT skills.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a warehouse supervisory role or similar      capacity.
• Valid F Endorsement and forklift operating experience.
• Competent IT skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently      when necessary.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Knowledge of building products is advantageous but not      required.

Working Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 7:00 am – 4:00 pm.
