The appointing salary for this role will be between $73,772.63 and $86,732.50, dependent on skills and experience.
The Education Pathways Advisor is based in our Marketing, Engagement & Communication | Toi Ohomai reporting to the Events & Engagement Manager and will be responsible for:
· Assist in the development and implementation of the Secondary school engagement strategy to promote Toi Ohomai's offerings and assist rangatahi in navigating tertiary pathways effectively.
· Increase participation and visibility of Toi Ohomai through targeted recruitment events.
· Tailor information and support services to meet the specific needs of secondary schools.
· Establish and maintain strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders to enhance collaboration and support.
· Utilise innovative technology to optimise communication channels and engagement with prospective students and partners.
To be successful in this role you will have:
· Education sector experience, knowledge of NZQA standards and curriculum requirements is desirable.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including proficiency in electronic marketing and communication techniques.
· Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to relate to individuals from diverse backgrounds and educational levels.
· Proactive, vibrant, and enthusiastic demeanor, coupled with a strong customer orientation.
Understanding of tikanga Māori, demonstrating respect for cultural protocols and practices within the education sector.
