About The Role
The Marketing Adviser plays a pivotal part in ensuring Primary ITO’s marketing strategy is brought to life. With a focus on digital channels, particularly social, lead national and sector-specific campaigns while also providing marketing tools and resources to our teams throughout the country.
Duties include:
- Oversee promotional channel activity including advertising, direct marketing, social media, and public relations for specific sectors
- Ensure campaigns for an array of programmes are planned, relevant, timely, provide value and recognise the specific nature of each sector.
- Lead and coordinate sector specific events such as field days and conferences.
- Actively monitor progress against plans through utilising data and insights, foresee and resolve issues as required, and report on progress on a regular basis.
- Provide measurable reporting against agreed sector and campaign metrics and make recommendations for the future.
This is a permanent full-time role (40 hours per week Monday to Friday) and would be based in our Wellington Office located in Te Aro that has hybrid working arrangements to support work-life balance.
Skills & Experience
- A relevant degree in Marketing/ Communications, or equivalent 3+ years’ experience
- Sound knowledge of digital channels and social media, with a sound understanding of marketing planning and analytics
- Proven experience in relationship management with great problem-solving skills
- Strong insight, creativity, and analytical skills
- An ability to be adaptable to change in a fast-paced, flexible environment
