The New Zealand Symphony Orchestra (NZSO) is Aotearoa New Zealand’s busiest live event provider, presenting concerts, education and community activity in cities and towns across Aotearoa New Zealand every year.
We’re looking for a Marketing Specialist to join our busy team for the next few months. You’ll be responsible for planning and delivering marketing campaigns to support the NZSO Immerse festival concerts in Auckland and Wellington as well as tours to other locations in the North Island.
You need to be able to hit the ground running, be a great organiser and be able to manage multiple projects at the same time, working with internal and external stakeholders to produce campaign assets and concert programmes.
Person Profile:
At least four years’ experience in a similar role, with an emphasis on digital and traditional campaign delivery and have demonstrated expertise and understanding of:
• The marketing process, with a focus on digital marketing across all online channels.
• Design/production experience.
• Sales, promotions and direct marketing.
• Managing multiple projects at any one time.
• Managing campaign costs in line with allocated budgets.
• Campaign reporting.
• Tactical planning processes.
• Integrated marketing techniques.
• Competence in content marketing strategy.
• Competence with Microsoft office packages (word, excel and power point).
An appreciation of orchestral music and/or live events is desirable.
