Corporate & Leisure Vacation Specialist

We are seeking a Vacation Specialist to join our team to assist in managing our clients’ travel needs – both corporate and leisure. This is a great opportunity for anyone with a passion for travel and helping others. Travel arrangements may include, but are not limited to flights, hotel accommodations, transportation, cruises, and event/ticket sales. You will be responsible for researching and booking travel, organizing client files, and maintaining open communication with clients and the team throughout the entire process. You will be supported with ongoing training and a rolodex of vendors and suppliers to help provide the best experience possible!

Responsibilities

• Arrange transportation, accommodations, and entertainment for individual and/or group travelers
• Review client preferences and budget to ensure you can create a trip designed to meet their needs
• Provide suggested budgets for clients when needed
• Address issues that may arise during booking and/or client travel
• Open communication with clients before, during, and after travel
• Maintain client files
• Create promotional material to market and advertise travel specials
• Participate in ongoing training to earn and maintain certification to book travel
• Attend ongoing webinars with vendors and suppliers to become acquainted with specific   destinations
• Stay up to date on changes within the tourism industry
• Monitor travel restrictions
• Follow all company procedures and policies

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must have a computer or smartphone with Internet access
• Must be fluent in English
• Personal travel experience a plus but not required
• Experience in customer service or hospitality a plus but not required
