We succeed together living up to the values of Safety, Integrity, Innovation, Trust, Respect and Excellence.AIRCRAFT TRADESPERSON REPAIRWe are currently recruiting for qualified (Level 4) tradespeople with background in aviation, mechanical engineering, automotive, fitter / machining, CNC machinist, fabricator or similar for permanent full-time positions. This is perfect for someone who can work in defined processes, is quality and safety oriented, pays close attention to detail, and is willing to learn. You will receive a full training and comprehensive onboarding. Your RoleAfter completing your induction training you will work at a designated workstation within our repair workshop consisting of the areas machining, thermal spray, bonding, weld, general fitting/ reconditioning.Completing repair, modification, or overhaul work under the instruction of Production Leaders and Lead HandsUsing our computer system to document and record your work Ensuring that your work meets all health and safety requirementsYour ProfileBe Trade Qualified – NZQA Level 4 or equivalent. Please provide a copy of your relevant qualifications, including NZQA equivalency for overseas qualificationsBe legally entitled to work in New ZealandHave solid work experience in similar environment, such as aviation, mechanical engineering, automotive, fitter / machining, CNC machinist, fabricator or similar.Be experienced in working in processes and following instructionsStrong hand skillsGood computer literacyHave a high level of attention to detail, accuracy, and good organizational skillsBe a confident, effective communicator and a strong team playerBe passionate about your work and always strive for the best and take pride in your workBe able to comply with a strong safety and quality cultureBe flexible and adaptableHOURS OF WORKIn this full-time position you will work in a fortnightly rotating shift pattern.
