DHRUV SUBHASH LIMITED as KASURI BAR AND EATERY are on the lookout for a motivated and committed TWO CHEFS to join our team in Auckland . You will be responsible for the restaurant's smooth functioning of the kitchen and the satisfaction of the customers by making delightful food. We guarantee a minimum of 30 hours per week with a pay rate between $30.00 p/h. You will be required to work as per the roster, you need to be available on weekends and public Holidays. Your Job Duties will be: Ensure all food preparation meets rigorous standards. Maintain clean and tidy working areas to prevent cross-contamination. Prepare items for various menus. Respond to guest inquiries in a timely and efficient manner. Ensure the quality and proper storage of food supplies. Report maintenance, hygiene, and hazard issues. Adhere to health, safety, and food safety legislation. Demonstrate environmental awareness. Determine correct portion sizes aligned with pricing and dietary needs. Ensure all preparation equipment is temperature-regulated and ready for use. Accommodate special dietary requirements of customers. What we are looking for: Minimum 3 years of similar experience in a busy environment or a relevant qualification in hospitality or culinary arts Experience in quality and cost control is essential. Excellent food hygiene practices High standard of personal hygiene and presentation Punctual, organised, and capable of multitasking with attention to detail Team player with effective communication skills Must be Non-Smoker. Must be able to pass a random drug test. Must not have any serious criminal conviction.
