Hours: 40 hours per week (Minimum 30 hours guaranteed) Payrate $29.66 to $30.00 per hour Number of positions vacant: 2 Job duties of the position offered –Ÿ   planning menus, estimating food and labour costs, and ordering food suppliesŸ   monitoring quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and presentationŸ   discussing food preparation issues with Managers, Dietitians and kitchen and waiting staffŸ   demonstrating techniques and advising on cooking proceduresŸ   preparing and cooking foodŸ   explaining and enforcing hygiene regulationsŸ   may select and train staffŸ   freeze and preserve foods Requirements of the position offered -- NZQF Level 5 Diploma or higher qualification in cooking field, or at least three years relevant work experience is required- Be available to work on weekends and public holidays as per the roster- Flexibility to work within a 7-Days a week operation including split shifts- Be able to work in a fast-paced environment with good communication skills and team spirit- Able to work till late evenings- Can pass drug test and have a clean police record If this sound like you and you would like to be part of our exciting team, please apply today.
