We are looking for an experienced collections officer within the financial services/lending industry to join a well known company. If you have the experience, we would be happy to have a chat with you!

A Collections Officer primary role is to ensure that outstanding debts are collected in a timely and professional manner while maintaining positive relationships with customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Contact customers to discuss overdue accounts via phone, email, and mail.
• Negotiate payment plans and settlements.
• Maintain accurate records of communications and agreements.
• Monitor payment commitments and ensure compliance.
• Collaborate to resolve customer disputes.

Experience:

• Finance sector experience.
• An accounting certificate or qualification would be an advantage.
• Minimum of one year in a collections or related role involving collections.
• Knowledge of credit control procedures.

Must have:

Work rights for New Zealand and be residing in New Zealand.
