Where you'll be working: Rural South Sector – mainly Te Awamutu The details: Permanent Full time – 40 hours per week Come join the Rural South Team were we pride ourselves in collaborative approaches to care. Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity In this role that reports to the Charge Nurse Manager, you will; * Provide assessment and treatment for Tamariki & rangatahi experiencing acute or enduring mental illness in the community. * Hold a case load of approximately 25 people as part of the MDT. * The local team is made up of a consultant psychiatrist, consultant psychologist, social workers and registered nurses. * Hours of work are 8:00-4:30 or 8:30-5:00. Key responsibilities of the role: * Organise prioritise and manage a caseload including the documentation associated with this. * Clear communication with MDT wider team and community partners. * Practice with a tangata whaiora and whanau centred approach and be a strong advocate for best practice If you are an innovative thinker with a can do attitude this is a great opportunity to join an amazing team. Mōu | About you Skills and experience you'll need to be considered for the role: * Knowledge and understanding of Te Tiriti O Waitangi * Registration with your respective professional body. * Experience in mental health is preferable but not essential. * A current full drivers licence.
