You will be responsible for planning and preparing morning tea, lunch, and afternoon tea, following food safety regulations, and maintaining a clean and organised kitchen.At times, you may be required to provide additional support on the floor to maintain staff-to-child ratios and ensure a safe and engaging learning environment.AboutyouYou'llbring to this important role:A Certificate in Food & Beverage Service (Level3) or a related field.A Food Safety Certificate and jnowledge of the FoodAct 2014 and National Programme 2.A sound understanding of nutritional needs forTamariki ages 3 months to 5 years old.The ability to cook 30-50 child portion meals andsnacks daily.Good physical mobility and the ability to lift,bend and stand for long periods of time.As this position is classed asa Core Worker, you will need to pass a safety check under the Children's Act2014.A soundunderstanding of te reo Maori phrases, mihi and greetings, and Maori values,culture, and tikanga, would be advantageous. As this role is classified as a Core Worker under the Childrens' Act2014, you will need to undergo police vetting and pass a safety check.Ifwe've outlined a role that matches your skills and capabilities and a workenvironment that appeals, apply today! We look forward to meeting you.Don't provide your bank or credit card details when applying for jobs.#J-18808-Ljbffr
