About this role We have an exciting opportunity for an incredible Customer Delivery Officer to join our team in Ngaaruawaahia for a fixed term period until 22 November 2024. You will need to commit to a 23.5 hour week working from Monday - Thursday 11 : 30am - 5pm and Saturday 9am - 12.30pm. You will be working on a 6 / 2 week rotations between both sites. What I do The purpose of this role is to deliver effective support to our community, with focus on delivering exceptional customer service as the interface between Waikato District Council and its customers. As part of this role you will have a range of varied tasks including front-of-house and library services, as well as being an ambassador for our district. Our team provides a physical presence for our community at both WDC locations in Ngaaruawaahia; Waikato District Council Head office and the Ngaaruawaahia Library site. We also provide a presence in the Tamahere Community Hub which may require you to travel and support our southern community at times. What I bring Ideally you'll have at least 2 years work experience in a customer focused environment and strong interpersonal skills. You'll be a self-starter that really enjoys working in a fast paced team environment, focused on delivering outstanding customer service and have a "can do" attitude.
