Joining Greenpeace puts you at the centre of the fight for the environment against big polluters and climate change.  We are looking for a Digital Marketing Specialist who will lead on the digital marketing strategy to grow our supporter base by engaging new audiences online and inspiring them to take action. To remain fiercely independent, Greenpeace campaigns are 100% funded by individual supporters. That means it is crucial that we grow our supporter base who participate in these campaigns, and put their financial power behind them by making a donation. The Digital Marketing Specialist will develop and implement strategies for paid social media marketing, SMS and DRTV, providing expertise and leadership in maximising the opportunities of these channels to bring new supporters into the organisation - and will also seek out and implement new opportunities to reach out to new audiences. Key Tasks Develop and deliver digital marketing plans to acquire new supporters and meet ambitious lead generation and fundraising targets Launch paid digital ads across multiple channels Maintain a schedule of campaigns, writing ad copy, setting target spend, audience targeting, continuous optimisation, and ensuring effective reporting on performance Find opportunities within fast moving campaigns to drive lead generation Be part of the team that works to create DRTV lead generation campaigns. Manage the SMS programmes for lead generation, micro-donations and supporter engagement Implement improvements and new initiatives for our social media marketing and paid advertising strategies Provide expert guidance to colleagues across the organisation on digital marketing best practice The ideal person for this role will have: Experience in the not for profit sector. Experience in lead generation, preferably in the not for profit sector. Meta Advertising Certification Google Advertising Certification A strong understanding of how to use data and insights to create engaging, effective, audience-centric content. In-depth experience of using digital marketing platforms for lead generation, must include Meta and Google At least 3 years of experience in a digital marketing campaign management role is required. Full Job description available on our website This role is based in Tāmaki Makaurau (Auckland) and is a full time (37.5 hours per week) permanent position. You must be a New Zealand citizen or resident, or hold an existing New Zealand work permit to be considered for this role.
