Secondary (Years 7–15) / wharekura, Other senior leadership English, Health and physical education, Learning languages, Mathematics and statistics, Science, Social sciences, Technology, Te reo Māori, The arts This exciting position oversees responsibility for the leadership, strategic direction, and marketing of our international student programme, as well as overall responsibility for the pastoral and academic needs of our international students. Pakuranga College has a well-established and successful international student programme, with a projected 150 FTE students, from a diverse number of countries around the world. The ideal candidate will: Have exceptional people skills including the ability to relate to other staff, students, families, parents and agencies with patience and professionalism. Demonstrate empathy with other cultures. Have excellent writing and organisational skills, including budgeting and strategic planning. Be well versed in the Education (Pastoral Care of Tertiary and International Learners) Code of Practice 2021, including compliance requirements. Have some familiarity with NCEA. Flexibility to be able to travel internationally for marketing. The position is well remunerated and attracts a competitive salary based on the relevant experience of the successful candidate. You must be eligible to work in New Zealand to apply for this position, and the appointment is subject to a satisfactory police vet prior to commencing.
