We are licensed for 20 tamariki, including 5 under twos, with high-quality ratios. Our centre is mixed age from 0 to 6 years old.Our centre focuses on the holistic wellbeing of each of our tamaiti, through the lens of ongoing therapy and education that is suitable to their needs and development.In the ever-growing increase and demand for specialised services, we are looking for a full or provisionally registered kaiako to join our dedicated team.What are we looking for in an applicant?Sound knowledge or some understanding of working with tamariki with disabilities, special and additional needs is preferred. However, we can support you in engaging and navigating your way into our unique space.Sound understanding of Te Whariki , and implementing it into our programme and routines.Adaptability and flexibility to work in an ever-changing environment.Commitment to engaging in reciprocal relationships with our tamariki, whanau and community.A team player who has a positive and can-do attitude!Commitment to bicultural practice.First aid is highly recommended.What we offer:Centre operating hours: 8.30am to 3pm. Times are negotiable upon request during interview.We operate on a term-by-term basis. Holidays are during term breaks, including a 6-week break during Christmas/New Year holidays. We do have set planning meetings during term breaks that are compulsory to attend.Ongoing professional development centred around our unique environment and of course available for your own learning and growth.
