Associate Clinical Charge NurseFull Time (1FTE), Monday to FridayFixed Term (10 months) Parental Leave Cover General and plastics surgeryAn exciting opportunity awaits an enthusiastic registered nurse with strong leadership abilities and extensive clinical expertise to take on the role of Associate Clinical Charge Nurse across Elective Surgery Centre and Totara Haumaru.This role would be based at our Elective Surgery Centre as well as our new state-of-the-art facility Totara Haumaru hospital building.Totara Haumaru is due to open in 2024 and will provide up to eight extra operating theatres, four new endoscopy suites and up to 150 new beds- helping us meet the needs of our vibrant, fast-growing and culturally diverse population of over 643,000 people.As a cutting-edge public health provider in New Zealand, ESC offers dedicated care to patients requiring surgery in orthopaedics, general surgery, plastics, gynaecology, urology, or ORL specialties.Operating theatre sessions are scheduled Monday to Friday between 0730 and 1800.The ACCN plays a vital role in ensuring exceptional patient care during surgery and supporting nursing staff in their professional development.This role involves serving as the theatre floor coordinator on rotation, collaborating with the theatre manager to uphold efficiency and quality of care.To thrive in this position, you will need :Excellent clinical skills in General and Plastics surgeryStrong communication and interpersonal abilitiesDemonstrated experience in staff and resource managementEffective time management and problem-solving skillsA passion for innovation and adaptability to changeDedication to quality, safety, and patient-centred careCurrent Annual Practicing Certificate and PRDP portfolioThis is a unique opportunity to join a supportive work environment that fosters growth and professional development, offering subsidised car parking and access to an employee assistance programme.For the job description please click hereJob Number WDHB18309Advert Closing Date : 13 May 2024#J-18808-Ljbffr
