General/Business Unit Manager (CEO & General Management)Full timeAdd expected salary to your profile for insightsWe are looking for an experienced and energetic sales and marketing professional to join our senior management team as our General Manager of Sales and Marketing.This will be a new role within our fast growing company so we are looking for someone who can add immediate value to the team through their professional experience and interest in fly fishing.We will be looking for the following 4 key skills.You will be a fly fisherman, it will be something you live and breathe and as a result, you'll understand the sport, the language and NZ fly fishing community.You'll be a well-versed marketer, you'll be able to visualise product and brand stories, which you'll weave through the company's dealer and consumer communications.You'll be able to connect all of this at a dealer level by an engaging sales approach that drives the sales team to implement the product plan throughout our retail customer base.Finally you'll be an experienced manager able to get the best out of others and ensure they are connected into the company's plans and strategies.Needless to say to do all of this you'll be proficient in Microsoft products and ideally have a solid grounding in Adobe suite. You'll be technically minded and comfortable with using business software.
