Consulting & Generalist HR (Human Resources & Recruitment) The Organisation: These roles don’t come along very often, an HR leadership role with part time hours. We are looking for an experienced HR professional to take on this newly reshaped role to provide leadership and strategy across all areas of HR for the organisation. This organisation has a strong vision and philosophy to deliver kaupapa Maori health and wellbeing services and has a staff of circa 120 employees. This role is based in Hamilton. About the role: You will bring innovative, best practice processes with you as you ensure robust HR policies and frameworks are further established and maintained to meet the ongoing needs of the organisation and its long-term sustainability. Strong ER knowledge, and a good understanding of NZ employment legislation will enable you to quickly embed yourself as the operational specialist, but it’s important that you also have a vision for evolving HR from the operational to the strategic. About you: You will have previously worked in a Kaupapa based environment and be able to demonstrate a knowledge and respect of Tikanga Maaori. You will be someone with a strategic and continuous improvement focus, who enjoys working across the entire gambit of the HR function; someone with a strategic drive who is still happy to be in the operational detail. This role would also suit someone who is developing into the leadership space.
