The Role The HR Services Manager oversees the HR services function, ensuring effective policies and practices are in place, while also managing the HR Coordinator(s) and Payroll Team. A strong focus for the role is on 'what' services are provided and 'how' these are delivered to the business to ensure effective HR support across the organisation. In addition, this role monitors the performance of Ravensdown HR systems, policies and practices using HR analytics and associated insights to inform continuous improvement and support wider organisational decision making around talent, capability, and employee experience. The HR Services Manager reports to the Chief People & Safety Officer (CP&SO) as part of a wider People & Safety Team. Skills and Experience As the ideal candidate, you will be an experienced HR practitioner with a good head for data analysis, knowing what information to collect and how best to present it, providing valuable insights back to the People Team and Ravensdown managers and employees. Committed to data integrity, and a stickler for accuracy and operational excellence, you will look for opportunities to drive improvements. A respected leader, you'll encourage and support your team, rolling up your sleeves when needed, to deliver quality HR services. In addition, you will have: A tertiary qualification in HRM, business or related discipline 5-6+ years' experience in a Senior HR Generalist or Senior HR Analyst role Strong working knowledge of NZ employment and payroll regulations Knowledge of, and experience applying, remuneration methodologies, best practice talent acquisition and management frameworks, and performance development practices Experience developing HR policies, procedures, and processes.
