Job Description We are currently looking for an experienced and passionate Junior Sous Chef to join Oaks Wellington Hotel on a Full time basis. This role will be focused on Breakfast & Conferences & Events.  Responsibilities Include: Preparing ingredients to use in cooking Cook delicious meals Ensure great presentation by dressing dishes before they are served Ensure all food and other items are stored properly Keep the kitchen organized and clean Responsible for all types of cleaning, filling records, maintaining food cost, wastage control.   Qualifications To be successful you will have: 1+ years experience in breakfast service/Buffet/A-la-Carte & conferences & Events in a similar position Solid knowledge of various cooking procedures and methods Excellent communication skills Positive, proactive attitude and a passion for cooking Availability to work morning shifts across a 7 day rotating roster (including weekends and public holidays) Additional Information Join our positive and vibrant team and be rewarded with these team benefits:   Competitive hourly rate 50% discounts on accommodation across all Minor Hotel brands in AUS and NZ. 20% team member's friend and family discount on accommodation across all Minor Hotel brands in Australia and New Zealand Additional paid leave including Birthday and Study leave.
