Job Description Kōrero mō te tūranga (about the role) We’re looking for a talented and passionate Sales Manager to add more good energy to our LPG Sales & Customer team. As our LPG Retail Manager, you will be responsible for leading the Retail Sales team to profitably grow the Rockgas business and optimise the revenue earned from our residential and small commercial sales, contracts, and partnerships across the B2C channel ( approx. 70,000+customers) throughout New Zealand. This role plays a pivotal part in ensuring Rockgas’ future success by developing and leading on the retail strategy and tactical plans, securing retail market share, delivering the customer value proposition, and building the brand’s reputation across the retail space with mass market residential, and commercial customers where there is growth potential for Rockgas. Qualifications Mōu (about you) As well as being able to demonstrate an excellent track record of driving and delivering sustainable business and customer growth and having a can do attitude’ you will have : A relevant tertiary qualification in a business, finance, commerce related discipline (desirable); Previous experience in senior sales & customer related and / or business development manager positions; Proven experience leading and coaching high performing teams to be successful; Experience developing and delivering the customer value strategy / proposition, including managing, either directly or indirectly through vendors, the relationship with and service performance of Call Centres. Good strategic and operational thinking skills with an orientation for continuous improvement and innovation; Excellent relationship management and influencing skills balanced with sales closing skills to ensure customer resign goals are delivered; Strong business / commercial and financial acumen, including managing budgets and being able to understand and make decisions based on business data; Good negotiation and contract management skills; and Desirable / not essential but experience in the B2C sector and / or energy retail environment is a bonus. Please note this role will require you to travel.
