Marketing Communications (Marketing & Communications) We're on the hunt for a Marketing Communications Manager to join our whanau here at Auckland Rugby League. We are a dynamic and fast-paced bunch, all with a strong passion and drive to grow rugby league in our community. The Marketing Communications Manager will strategically lead various campaigns across multiple channels. A large part of the role is leading our social media strategy, including how to best use our Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok and You Tube to grow our ARL brand, participation, player profiles, fan engagement and various events. This role will also lead various communications across multiple channels to ensure we are telling a consistent story around our brand, events and initiatives.This is a varied and hands-on role, where you need to be able to think strategically but also roll your sleeves up and get into the detail, including capturing content at times and writing communications.Key skills and attributes:Proven ability in developing a content calendar and aligning teams behind it.Proven ability in leading and developing social media accounts.Copywriting skills for multiple channels such as social, EDMs, newsletters, website, events and Club forums.Ability to drive cohesive communications across channels.Understanding of broadcast production requirements. Ability to build relationships quickly, with strong stakeholder management.Ability to brief and direct footage capture and requirements for your social strategy and content calendar – being able to capture footage yourself is advantageous.Demonstratable experience of working within brand guidelines and how to uphold these internally and externally.Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment with multiple projects on the go.Prior sport experience isn't essential but a passion for sport is.We have a strong vision here at ARL to make Auckland the biggest region of rugby league in the world and want people to take us on this journey.
