Marketing Assistants/Coordinators (Marketing & Communications)

Are you looking for a hands-on, delivery-focused marketing role? If you are passionate about marketing and are creative and enthusiastic, we want you! We are seeking a new team member who can multitask and takes pride in their work to assist us with building and executing campaigns. This is a true generalist role with elements of digital marketing, events, campaigns, branding, marcomms, and marketing admin.
Key Responsibilities
• Assisting in promoting, communicating, coordinating, attending, and managing events.
• Creating, executing and managing content calendars, campaign plans, campaign deliverables and external briefs.
• Writing and publishing content for the web, intranet, social media, eDM’s, media releases and campaign materials.
• Updating and maintaining the Carrfields suite of websites, intranet, and social media profiles, including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, Vimeo, and Instagram. Creating and reporting on paid social media campaigns.
• Overseeing and reporting on analytics, time sheeting, and project management software.
• Creating basic design assets through Canva.
• Supporting the Marketing Manager in general marketing and administrative tasks as required.
Key Skills Required for this Role Include:
• Degree in Marketing or Communication or equivalent experience
• Exceptional written English with a creative flair and natural writing abilities.
• Experience using social media and updating website content.
• Experience creating content using design software.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong computer skills.
• Ability to develop strong internal and external working relationships.
• Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to juggle many projects and deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail.
• At least 1 - 2 years’ marketing experience
Non-essential skills (if you have these, it’s a bonus!)
• Adobe Creative Suite proficiency
• Knowledge or experience in agriculture
Hours:  Full-time, 40 hours per week (Monday – Friday), with flexibility given. Occasional out-of-hours event attendance and travel are required for Field Day-type events (plenty of notice given).
