They should understand the core values, products and services of Joyya, and convey these in a compelling way to our customer. They should be resourceful, willing to take risks and try out new ideas. The NZ Joyya offices are in Christchurch, New Zealand, however given this is a global role, we welcome applications from applicants outside of the Christchurch region. ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Implementation Focused Joyya has a small leadership team, and the Manager would form part of that team. The marketer should be hands-on, able to create and deploy content themselves, or work with vendors, freelancers and volunteers as needed to support marketing efforts. The role requires a person who can balance strategic thinking with self-motivated execution. Work with CEO to define a marketing budget and manage expenditures. Set and track key Marketing KPIs across different initiatives. Develop customer segmentation, profiles and overall marketing strategy. Coordinate with branding agency to build brand presence. Design annual marketing calendar and regular marketing campaigns Track and improve effectiveness of SEO. Manage our social media presence across all relevant channels (Youtube, Linkedin etc.) Develop marketing collateral (online and offline) to support marketing and sales efforts. Collaborate with sales team on price sheets, marketing videos and other selling tools to increase sales efficacy Insights & Analytics Gain customer and competitor intelligence and insights Identify customer pain-points and opportunities to add value or launch new products. Develop systems to track and report KPIs across the customer lifecycle. Manage our CRM platforms and develop standardized reports from CRM. Work with sales and customer care team to establish market-based product and service pricing. Develop regular sales, discounting and other pricing initiatives. Go to Market Plan Work with website team to manage and improve our e-commerce site. Maintain strong relationships with existing distributors and providing marketing support as needed. Understand buying habits of key customers and suggest ways for increasing customer reach. Generate sales leads and target sales lists for sales team to pursue. Leadership, Team Management and Coordination Create and sustain a work environment of mutual respect for team members. Supervise, hire, and orient new team members as necessary. Provide team members with information, tools and other resources to improve performance. Performs other duties as may be delegated by the Directors from time to time. Point person for redressal of all marketing matters. Ensure compliance and role modeling of company's core values and leadership ethos. ADDITIONAL QUALITIES / SKILL SET Strong foundation in marketing theory and practice (ideally a postgraduate degree in marketing) Understanding of range of marketing tools (newsletters, mailers, social media, online marketing) Familiarity with B2B marketing practices is preferred. Knowledge of Fair Trade or Ethical marketing is a plus. Competency with Shopify, Canva, CRMs are a plus.
