Mothers Helper/Support worker | OnehungaTimes and daysWeekdays 3.00pm – 6pmWeekend 8am-12pm2pm - 6pm I am looking for someone who naturally possess a keen observational ability, and is adaptable and teachable, with an intuitive, patient , up beat, fun and gentle nature.You will be someone who can communicate effortlessly and be chatty, engaged and in tune with my 9-year-old son who loves making music, dancing, painting, reading books, bubbles and drawing.My son has some special needs which include a gastrostomy button, which I administer liquid and meds through, you would be required to learn how to do this.If this sounds like you and you can commit to any of the days outlined, (please note I am after a couple of workers that can share the above times so please get in touch if any of the days and times suit) then I would love to hear from you!On a typical day you will:Free play activities sensory/messy play, music, dancing, toys, walks to the playground.Assist in evening and lunchtime meal prep and bath time, giving the child his lunch/dinner and getting him ready for bed  Tidy up and sweep the kitchen and play spaces, fold and put away washing, complete any light housework that may need to be done.Administer water/meds via mic-key button in stomach (full training will be provided)Nappy changingYou may also be required to participate in community outings such as going to the park or accompanying parent to a play date or event.Experience and training:Training in all aspects of the child's needs and family lifestyle where relevantChildcare experience (essentialPrevious experience with special needs  (desirable)Excellent listening and communication skillsPatientReliableADDITIONAL PAYMENT INFORMATIONGreat hourly rate depending on experience.
