National Sales Manager – Strategic Accounts Posted: 06/06/2024Closing Date: 11/06/2024Job Type: Permanent - Full TimeLocation: Auckland - Mt WellingtonJob Category: Consulting & Strategy,SalesOur Purpose:To create a stronger New Zealand by helping our customers, communities and people succeed.About the Role:Due to the internal promotion of Darrell Tonge we are excited to announce an internal opportunity for the position of National Sales Manager – Strategic Accounts.Reporting to the General Manager Sales, this role is pivotal in supporting our dedicated team of Sales Engineers and the National Business Development Manager.Job Description Ownership of the sales revenue and gross profit performance for the Strategic Accounts portfolio.Develop and execute strategic sales and marketing plans for national projects.Utilise sales tools including BI and CRM to monitor sales activity and the health of the sales pipeline.Leadership, development and coaching of the nationally based Strategic Accounts Sales team.Formulate and implement national projects and strategic customer strategies in collaboration with the General Manager.Own the senior level relationships within our Tier One customers including Fulton Hogan, Downer, McConnel Dowell and HEB.Monitor market trends, project opportunities, and introduce innovative solutions for clients.Monitor and report on competition and market trends.Working closely with the Branch Managers and the regionally based Account Management team to ensure local support and accountability for customer satisfaction and revenue growth.Build and maintain effective relationships with cross-functional partners to ensure the alignment with the overall company strategy.Desired Skills and Experience Proven sales/markets experience and business development competencies.Knowledge of the Industrial and Civil market segments.Strong commercial and business acumen.Established relationships with key industry bodies and key customer contacts.Previous sales coaching experience.Excellent ability to work with various individuals.Strong customer-centric mindset with a professional sales approach.High accuracy and attention to detail.If you are ready to take on a challenging and rewarding role that significantly contributes to our business strategy and development, we encourage you to apply.#J-18808-Ljbffr
