  • Flexible Working Environment and Fab Team Kōrero mō te tūranga About the role : Our team manages around 2 million hectares of Crown lands and waterways across New Zealand including many of our treasured lakes and rivers and the South Island high country that contains some of the New Zealand's most threatened species and habitats.

We manage a comprehensive aquatic and terrestrial biosecurity programme to mitigate the threat of invasive plants and pests.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about protecting and enhancing Crown land for existing and future generations.

This is your opportunity to use your project management and relationship skills to implement the delivery of the biosecurity programme across New Zealand.

You'll enjoy working in a collaborative team environment and connecting with a range of internal and external stakeholders, Iwi and technical subject matter experts.

This role will report to the Leader of Crown Property Specialist Advice and will work closely with the wider Crown Property team.

  • Experience managing and leading programmes & contracts with suppliers,
  • Relevant subject matter expertise in biosecurity, environmental management, or ecology.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with a range of teams and key stakeholders and Iwi.
  • High level written and verbal communication skills to provide information to a range of audiences.
  • Experience providing advice to senior leaders on programme reporting and risks.
  • Experience and enjoy mentoring others.The expected appointment range for this role is $105,000 $120,000. Ngā mea e tukuna ana e tātau What we offer our employees
