You will work closely with project managers, subcontractors, and clients to deliver successful projects within budget and on time.Key Responsibilities includes; Preparation of Estimates and Budgets, Contract Administration, Relationship Management, Health & Safety – For a full job description – get in touch!Estimate projects based on concept drawings and design briefsPrepare detailed schedules of quantities for project componentsEnsure compliance with health and safety and environmental regulationsMaintain complete contract files and historical costing recordsAssist project managers with monthly reporting and variation pricingCollaborate with the QS team and provide tender feedback to subcontractorsWork with project managers to build and refine the subcontractor poolMaintain high standards of H&S inline with company guidelines and expectations including managing subcontractor health and safety requirementsSkills & Qualifications and what we're looking for!3-5 years of experience and related qualification in Quantity SurveyingTechnical proficiency in residential constructionStrong analytical skills and numeracy literacyExperience reading and interpreting plans/drawingsEffective multitasking and task prioritizationStrong computer literacy – (Experience with Procore advantageous)Hold valid drivers licenseThis is an amazing opportunity to join a business who are showing huge growth, delivering quality products with a solid team.
