About the role We are looking for a Receptionist to use their exceptional customer service and communication skills to maintain the efficient day to day running of our Wellington office and facilities. You will be the key point of contact for clients and guest. Greeting them at reception, you will be their first impression of Dentons; well-presented, friendly and proactive. In this role, you will deliver outstanding service to all clients, both internal and external. Your day-to-day may include Welcoming guests, both internal and external Maintaining the reception area and kitchens Coordinating meeting room bookings and keeping rooms tidy Answering all incoming calls and dealing with client queries Updating office records, including phone lists and supplier details Supporting the planning and coordination of firm events and arrange catering Preparing beverages and delivering catering Managing the maintenance of office facilities Arranging photocopying and printing Ordering stationery and supplies Providing back up support to the wider Operations team Digitising and file deed documents Website profiles, client data and templates administration and support This is a full- time permanent role based in our central Wellington office working Monday - Friday 8:30am – 5:00pm. Due to the nature of this role, there is no opportunity to work remotely. The team The Receptionist reports to the Operations Manager and is part of the wider Operations team which sit within Corporate Services. This team prides itself on collaborating and supporting each other. There will be opportunities for this role to pick up support in other areas of the Operations team. About you The ideal person will have a positive attitude, will use their initiative and is able to work well under pressure. You will bring strong administrative experience in a Receptionist role (previous experience working in a law firm is desirable). You will be flexible and be able to manage competing priorities and sudden changes in direction. To be successful you will have: Administrative exposure to the full MS Office suite (intermediate to advanced level preferrable) Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail An energetic and engaging manner and great communication skills (both written and verbal) A willingness to roll up your sleeves and get stuck into what ever work comes your way What do we offer?
