Registered Nurse – Emergency Department - Fixed term Dunedin Hospital Salary Band – $75,000 - $106,000 p.a prorata + Kiwisaver 0.4 FTE / 32 hours per fortnight Parental leave cover until 21/4/2025 Retail, insurance and gym discounts The Emergency Department includes a triage area, a rapid assessment area, dedicated resuscitation areas, acute, sub-acute and paediatric cubicles along with ambulatory care spaces. It carries out all acute cares for adults and paediatrics including full patient resuscitation facilities, management of trauma, fractures, injuries and so much more. Mo te turanga | About the role The Emergency Department includes A triage area, a rapid assessment area, dedicated resuscitation areas, acute, sub-acute and paediatric cubicles along with ambulatory care spaces. Acute cares for adults and paediatrics including full patient resuscitation facilities, management of trauma, fractures, injuries and so much more. Develop your skills in this area of nursing including: a comprehensive orientation programme; On-going development in emergency nursing skills e.g. Trauma Nursing Core Course, Triage Course, and Advanced Life Support.
