Ngā mōhiohioe pā ana ki tēnei mahi (Aboutthis position)The Patient at Risk (PAR) service supports acutely unwell patients on thewards and provides a conduit to ICCU.

This is a 24 / 7 nursing led service, withfull consultant support. The PAR service uses a multi-disciplinary approach to identify patientsat risk of, or developing, critical illness in the general ward environment.

The emphasis is on support and helping to educate ward staff to recogniseclinical deterioration and rapidly initiate an appropriate escalation of care.

The PARteam respond to medical emergencies, acute referrals and ICCU follow-ups acrossall inpatient services. The service will provide 24 / 7 cover, with theexpectation you will work across all shifts, Monday to Sunday.
