Remote Communications Specialist

Job Description:

Spectra Energy is seeking a Remote Communications Specialist to join our dynamic team in Tauranga, Bay Of Plenty, New Zealand. This full-time entry-level position is ideal for someone with at least 1 year of experience in communications or a related field. The ideal candidate will be resourceful and independent, with strong soft skills in persuasion and planning.

Responsibilities: - Develop and implement communication strategies to enhance the organization's public image - Create engaging content for various communication channels, including social media, press releases, and marketing materials - Monitor and analyze communication metrics to measure the effectiveness of campaigns - Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging and branding - Handle media inquiries and coordinate press events - Assist with crisis communication strategies and response - Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in communication

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, marketing, or a related field - Strong writing and editing skills - Proficiency in Microsoft Office and social media platforms - Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills - Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
