Communications Specialist

Job Description:

Anthem is seeking a dynamic and creative Communications Specialist to join our team in Napier, Hawke's Bay, NZ. As a full-time entry-level position, this role is ideal for individuals with at least 1 year of experience in communications and a passion for engaging with audiences. The ideal candidate will be resourceful, energetic, have strong time management skills, and possess critical thinking abilities.

Responsibilities: - Develop and implement communication strategies to promote company initiatives and services - Create engaging content for various channels including social media, press releases, newsletters, and website - Manage relationships with media outlets, journalists, and other stakeholders - Monitor and analyze communication metrics to measure effectiveness and make data-driven decisions - Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging and branding across all platforms - Support the planning and execution of events, campaigns, and public relations efforts

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, and social media platforms - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Experience with content creation and digital marketing is a plus
