Content Writer

Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated and passionate Content Writer to join our team at Viacom in Dunedin, Otago, NZ. This is an entry-level position ideal for individuals with at least 1 year of experience in content writing or a related field.

Responsibilities: - Create engaging and high-quality written content for various platforms, including websites, social media, newsletters, and marketing materials - Conduct research on industry trends and produce content that is relevant and informative - Collaborate with the marketing team to develop content strategies and campaigns - Edit and proofread content to ensure accuracy and consistency - Stay up-to-date with best practices in content writing and SEO - Contribute to brainstorming sessions and provide creative ideas for content development - Meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or a related field - Strong writing and editing skills with a keen eye for detail - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to think critically and problem-solve creatively - Proficiency in Microsoft Office and content management systems - Experience in digital marketing and social media management is a plus - Familiarity with SEO best practices - A portfolio of writing samples demonstrating your skills and experience
