We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Sales Executive to join our team. As a key player in our B2B chemical sales environment, you will be responsible for promoting and selling our high-quality detergent and chemical products to businesses in the Christchurch and greater South Island regions. Your goal? To drive revenue growth, build lasting client relationships, and enhance the morale of Ecochem's sales team. Key Responsibilities Business Development Identify and target potential B2B customers within the assigned territory. Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets. Cultivate new business relationships and expand our customer base. Product Knowledge Gain a deep understanding of our detergent and chemical product offerings. Articulate product features, benefits, and applications to potential clients. Provide technical information and answer inquiries related to our products. Conduct sales presentations, product demonstrations, and negotiations. Prepare and deliver compelling proposals tailored to client needs. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless order fulfillment. Relationship Building Establish strong rapport with existing clients to foster loyalty. Regularly visit clients, understand their requirements, and address any concerns. Attend industry events and networking functions to expand your professional network. Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics. Provide feedback to management regarding pricing, product enhancements, and market opportunities. Maintain accurate records of sales activities, leads, and customer interactions. Generate regular reports on sales performance and pipeline status. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Business, or a related field. Proven sales experience in B2B environments, chemical industry experience is a major plus. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Strong negotiation abilities and a persuasive demeanour. Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
